The progress of carousel production in United Rides can involve several aspects:

Design Phase:

Concept Development: When we receives an order, we works with the customer to determine the size of the machine based on cost and maintenance considerations. This is where the initial ideas for the carousel’s theme, appearance, and overall style are formed. And then, our Designers will consider customers’ requirement. For example, if customer need an antique carousel, designers will make a carousel with a vintage themed with elaborate carvings on the horses and a decorative roof. Or if customer want a new style carousel, it could have a space-themed design with rocket-shaped seats and a futuristic canopy.

Technical Design: Our engineers work on the structural design to ensure the carousel can rotate smoothly and safely. They calculate the load-bearing capacity to support the weight of the seats, figures, and riders. Besides, the mechanism for the rotation, usually powered by an electric motor, is carefully designed with appropriate gears and drive systems to control the speed and ensure reliability. Also, considerations are made for the braking system to bring the carousel to a stop safely when needed.

Manufacturing Phase:

Material Selection: There are different parts of choosing materials. For the frame, sturdy metals like steel are often used to provide structural integrity. The seats and decorative figures can use the materials like fiberglass, which is durable and can be molded into various shapes easily. Wood may also be used for a more traditional and warm look, especially for the carved details on some carousel elements.

Fabrication: Skilled workers cut, shape, and assemble the various parts. The metal frame is welded and bolted together. And the fiberglass or wooden figures are carefully crafted, perhaps painted with multiple layers of paint to achieve vibrant colors and a smooth finish. What’s more, the mechanical components like the motor, gears, and axles are installed and tested for proper functioning.

Assembly and Installation Phase:

On-Site Assembly: Once all the components are manufactured, it’s time to the installation site. There, a team assembles the carousel, carefully fitting together the different sections of the frame, attaching the seats and figures in their designated positions, and connecting the mechanical parts to the power source and control systems.

Testing and Calibration: Before delivery it to the customer, extensive testing is carried out. The carousel is run multiple times to check for smooth rotation, proper speed control, and to ensure that there are no strange noises or vibrations that could indicate mechanical problems. Safety features like the guardrails around the perimeter and the emergency stop buttons are also tested rigorously.

Quality Control and Approval Phase:

Inspection: Independent inspectors or regulatory authorities check the carousel to make sure it meets safety and quality standards. They examine aspects such as the structural integrity of the frame, the proper functioning of the electrical. Additionally, they will check mechanical systems, and the adherence to any relevant design codes.

Certification: Once it passes inspection, the carousel in our United Rides receives the necessary certifications. That allowing it to be operated legally and safely for the public to enjoy.
